HOUSTON, TX (Tuesday, June 27, 2023) – This summer, Silver Eagle Distributors Houston, LLC is teaming up with Budweiser, Bud Light and the Astros Foundation to support the Folds of Honor Foundation, a non-profit organization that provides post-secondary educational scholarships for families of U.S. military personnel and first responders killed or disabled while serving their country.
“We are honored to support the Folds of Honor Foundation and their Houston-area scholarship recipients for the tenth consecutive year,” said Camilo Rojas III, Vice President of Marketing at Silver Eagle Houston.
For more than a century, Budweiser, Bud Light and its wholesalers, including Silver Eagle Houston, have supported our nation’s military and first responders. And this summer, for every camo Budweiser or Bud Light aluminum bottle sold from June 19 through September 3, 2023, Anheuser-Busch will donate $0.25 up to $1.7M to the Folds of Honor.
Silver Eagle Houston, Budweiser and Bud Light are proud to team up once again with the Houston Astros to support Folds of Honor during the Astros’ July 4TH game at Minute Maid Park. Activations during the game will include:
• A $10,000 check presentation from Silver Eagle Houston to the Folds of Honor Foundation to fund two $5,000 educational scholarships for local military members and their families.
• Sale of Folds of Honor Challenge Coins at the Budweiser Brewhouse. 100% of the proceeds go directly to the Folds of Honor.
• Several mentions throughout the game on the Scoreboards.
Since 2010, Budweiser, Bud Light and its wholesalers have raised $21 million nationwide for the Folds of Honor Foundation. In the Houston-area, Silver Eagle Houston has contributed over $220,000 to the organization since 2013.
