Bud Light and Silver Eagle Distributors Team Up With Houston Food Bank For Volunteer Event – Ask Houstonians to Join The Cause

HOUSTON (July 13, 2015) – On Thursday, July  16 from 6-8 p.m., America’s leading beer brand, Bud Light – together with local distributor Silver Eagle Distributors and the Houston Food Bank – is encouraging Houston-area young professionals to do some good and help ensure no child is hungry this summer.

On a given day, 66,000 people in southeast Texas experience the pain of hunger and have no food: 5,000 of these people are children. Local Houstonians can help make a difference in the lives of their neighbors by signing up to participate in Bud Light Gives to Houston’s volunteer event on July 16.

This volunteer initiative is part of a series of volunteer events hosted by Bud Light and Silver Eagle Distributors. The events are designed to bring local residents together for hands-on projects that give back to various charitable organizations throughout Houston.

“Silver Eagle is committed to the communities in which we live and work and believes strongly in volunteerism and giving back,” says John Nau, president and CEO of Silver Eagle Distributors. “Bud Light Gives to Houston is a great opportunity to continue this tradition of giving while encouraging local Houstonians to help us accomplish great things in our neighborhoods and communities.”

All volunteers must be 21 years of age or older to participate. For more event details or to sign up, visit https://budlighthouston.wufoo.com/forms/bud-light-gives-houston-food-bank/.
