HOUSTON, TX (Monday, March 30, 2026) – Silver Eagle Distributors Houston, in partnership with Budweiser and the Houston Astros, kicked off the 2026 baseball season in a big way, celebrating Astros Opening Day while honoring Budweiser’s 150-year legacy and supporting military families through the Folds of Honor Foundation.
As part of the Opening Day festivities at Daikin Park, Silver Eagle Houston and its partners presented a $35,000 donation to Folds of Honor, reinforcing a shared commitment to supporting the families of fallen and disabled service members.
Opening Day also featured a full slate of fan experiences, including the Astros Opening Day Street Fest, appearances by the iconic Budweiser Clydesdales’ Bald Eagle, and a special moment as Lincoln “took flight” from the Budweiser Brewhouse to home plate, bringing Budweiser’s rich American heritage to life in front of thousands of fans.
“Opening Day in Houston is always special, but this year carries even more meaning as we celebrate 150 years of Budweiser and continue our support for Folds of Honor,” said Camilo Rojas III, Vice President of Marketing at Silver Eagle Houston. “We are proud to partner with the Houston Astros and Anheuser-Busch to create memorable experiences for fans while giving back to those who have sacrificed so much.”
Founded in 1876, Budweiser is marking its 150th anniversary in 2026 with a yearlong “Made of America – For 150 Years” celebration, highlighting the brand’s deep connection to American culture, sports and tradition. As part of the milestone, Budweiser has introduced limited-edition heritage cans inspired by iconic designs from the 1950s, 1980s and 1990s, along with a commemorative 150th anniversary design.
Baseball has long been at the heart of Budweiser’s story, and Opening Day in Houston served as a fitting tribute to that legacy—bringing together America’s favorite pastime with one of its most iconic brands.
