Glazed Country Ham with Breckenridge Brewery’s Vanilla Porter
1 10 pound ham
1 cup apple juice
2 cups Breckenridge Brewery’s Vanilla Porter
1/2 cup dijon mustard
1 cup dark brown sugar
1/2 cup honey
Preheat oven to 325. Place ham in a roast pan. Pour the apple juice and beer over the ham. Cover with foil. Cook in oven until an internal thermometor reads 145. Remove ham from oven. Take off foil. Using gloved hands, rub mustard all over ham. On top of mustard, pack brown sugar, then pour honey on top. Turn the oven up to 425. Place in oven uncovered, and cook 40 more minutes.
Remove from oven, let rest for 20 minutes and slice to serve.
Sweet Potato Cups topped with Marshmallows with Breckenridge Brewery’s Vanilla Porter
6 small sweet potatoes, scrubbed clean
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 bottle of Breckenridge Brewery’s Vanilla Porter
1 tablespoon butter
1 cup marshmallows
Preheat oven to 375. Rub olive oil on potatoes. Wrap in foil and bake for 1 hour or until soft.
Remove from oven. Allow to cool, then cut each potato in half length wise. Using a spoon, scoop out most of the inside. Mix inside with cinnamon, nutmeg, sugar, beer, and butter.
Scoop the filling back into the potatoes. Top with marshmallows.
Bake at 425 for 15 minutes.
