HOUSTON, TX (Friday, November 11, 2022) – Silver Eagle Distributors Houston announced today that it has earned the 2023 Military Friendly ® Employer designation.
For the fourth consecutive year, Silver Eagle has been designated a Military Friendly ® Company, receiving two accolades:
• Military Friendly ® Employer – promoted to #6 out of the Top 10 in the nation.
• Military Friendly ® Spouse Employer – promoted to #3 out of the Top 10 in the nation.
Each award is based on their efforts to create sustainable and meaningful career paths for veteran employees and spouses. Silver Eagle is dedicated to building a bright future for veteran and military communities by hiring military veterans and spouses, enhancing diversity programs, and supporting their suppliers’ veteran initiatives.
Institutions earning the Military Friendly ® Employer designation were evaluated using both public data sources and responses from a proprietary survey. Over 1,000 companies participated in the 2023 Military Friendly ® survey.
Methodology, criteria, and weightings were determined by VIQTORY with input from the Military Friendly ® Advisory Council of independent leaders in the military recruitment community. Final ratings were determined by combining an organization’s survey score with an assessment of the organization’s ability to meet thresholds for Applicant, New Hire Retention, Employee Turnover, and Promotion & Advancement of veterans and military employees.
