Battle of Flowers Parade

The day of the Battle of Flowers Parade is an unofficial Holiday in San Antonio and attending is a rite of passage for anyone new to the city. Fiesta-goers line the streets in eager anticipation for the colorfully decorated floats carrying Fiesta Royalty, local celebrities & civic/military leaders. The parade also includes horse-drawn carriages, giant helium balloons, local school marching bands, and vintage cars amongst other things.
