La Vernia BBQ Cook-Off

Join the Greater La Vernia Parks Foundation for their 13th annual BBQ Cook-Off. The highlight of the annual BBQ Cook-off is the IBCA-sanctioned BBQ cooking competition, where teams compete for the best BBQ chicken, beef, and ribs. Cooking teams come from across the state and are very competitive about their cooking techniques and recipes. Along with the BBQ competition there will be performances by Bleu Edmonson and Natalie Rose, on Saturday, and Johnny Kiser on Friday.
