Palomino Fest
The heritage and music festival began in 1996 when Uvalde’s Grammy Award-winning musicians, Los Palominos, sought to perform for the community that helped them get their start. Now produced by Uvalde Festival and Events Association, Inc., a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization in association with Southwest Texas Junior College, the annual Labor Day Weekend event donates thousands of dollars each year towards SWTJC student scholarships.
